Friends! We are so excited to announce that we are doing a collaboration with our friend Jenny from Little Lunch Love! Jenny is the creator of the Instagram page Little Lunch Love, where she shares snack and lunch ideas she makes for her family. All of the lunchbox ideas she creates are super diverse, kid friendly and look super tasty.
Jenny has two kiddies of her own and is always coming up with really creative ways to showcase the food that she prepares, while still ensuring that the lunchbox is nutritionally balanced. Since we too have kiddies who we pack lunches for, we are always browsing her page to find some inspiration and have never been disappointed.
In the beginning of January we asked you guys on Instagram what you wanted to see more of and you answered — kid friendly snacks and lunch ideas. So when Jenny approached us to do a collab together, we jumped at the opportunity! So how perfect is it that we not only get to introduce you to Jenny, but also create a lunchbox for her that our kids absolutely love and YOU get to hopefully take away some ideas for your kiddies.
And so, in our Sneaky Mommies lunchbox we have included the following:
- Pesto pasta with hemp hearts, on GoGo Quinoa, Rice & Amaranth Penne
- Heart shaped cucumber, yellow pepper and mini tomatoes on skewers (because everything tastes better on a stick!)
- Kid Approved Date Power Balls, coated in dye free sprinkles and hemp hearts (school friendly version)
- Peeled and cut up apples & blueberries
This is a lunchbox that I pack for my son ALL the time and it comes home empty, almost every single time. Here he is getting a good mix of healthy grains, fats, fruits, protein and veggies and as he says “it all looks so colourful and yummy mommy”. I say, win win to that friends.
And so, if you are lacking inspiration for the next lunch you need to back, or just want some really creative ideas check out Little Lunch Love. So many wonderful and delicious ideas and the ones we have tried so far have received a big thumbs up, so worth a try right!?
Happy lunch making and hope you find some inspiration!
