The whole premise of Sneaky Mommies and why our blog began in the first place, was to share recipes that sneak healthy ingredients into kid friendly meals. We’ve created a slew of various recipes including a pasta bolognese sauce with 7 sneaky vegetables, kid approved date power balls and our buttermilk banana pancakes with hemp hearts and honey roasted strawberries just to name a few. Along the way we have also shared some really delicious snacks, simple weeknight meals and elaborate weekend and holiday meals that have hopefully helped inspire you and have taken the stress out of meal planning.
But now we want to bring it back to the basics, and share with you a new initiative we will be launching called Sneaky Sundays. Every Sunday from here on in, we will be sharing a new recipe that is specifically targeted at your picky eater and sneaking in healthy ingredients. Staying true to our name, the recipes will be simple, kid friendly and nutritious. During the week you’ll continue to find a wide range of recipes that we have tested and perfected but you can rest assured that every Sneaky Sunday, it will be a recipe specifically targeted at your kids.
As busy moms we understand the stress that meal time brings, and how hard it is to constantly come up with meal ideas that are healthy, and that the kids will like. Our mission is to help take some of the legwork out of it for you. We want to help alleviate this stress by sharing recipes that we have tested on our picky eaters, and have received the thumps up.
Stay tuned, as our first Sneaky Sundays recipe is launching Sunday, July 23! We will be sharing one of our absolute favourite snacks and have an amazing line up ready for you in the coming weeks.
