I woke up this morning with my daughter in my room telling me there was snow outside. It was more like frost, but either way, she was much more excited about it then I was. I can’t say I’m a big fan of the winter season that is ahead in Canada. Snowy roads, temperatures too cold for comfort, and winter sports are not for me. However, what I do like in winter are cozy nights in, warm sweaters, and hot drinks by the fire. Tomorrow snow is in the forecast for the first time since last season so I thought what better time then now to share our cranberry apple spiced cider, perfect for this time of the year.
This tasty drink is great for a party, or after an outdoor winter event (for whoever does that!) for both kids and adults to warm up to. This cider is infused with cranberries, apples, oranges, and cinnamon, adding some extra flare and taste to the typical apple cider often served in the winter. It will give your home a wonderful aroma, and the cider with all the fruit looks festive. All naturally sweetened, you can feel good about sharing this with your family and friends.
